North Winchester Community Church is based at Weeke Community Centre, Taplings road. We are a Christian church and a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB) – a mainstream denomination. NWCC is a daughter church of City Road Baptist Church, Winchester and was planted from there in 1992.
Weekly Sunday services are held at 10:30am on a Sunday morning. On the first Sunday evening of each month ‘The Gathering’ meets at 8pm. All our services are open for anyone to attend and has an informal style.
We keenly support and give to our local community and hold a number of events throughout the year including, Retired Club, Cinema Club 49, Quiz Night, New Year’s meal, holiday clubs, summer Barbeque, etc.. Our minister, Rev. Neil Simpson also takes assemblies in local schools.
