Welcome to North Winchester Community Church. As our name suggests, we are a fellowship who love being part of the north Winchester area, which includes the estates of Harestock, Weeke, Teg Down, and Barton Farm.
Sunday Meetings in November
During November we will be sharing faith, food and fellowship in a variety of ways! We would love you to join us!
3rd (Weeke Community Centre, 10:30am) Danny will be speaking on one of our ‘Hot Topics’ – Sexuality.
10th (Weeke Community Centre, 10:30am), Service of Remembrance.
17th (Weeke Community Centre, 10:30am) David will be speaking on another ‘Hot Topic’ – Grappling with creation in an age of evolution. It is also Shoebox Sunday, so if you have a shoebox, bring it along and we’ll take it to the collection point.
24th 10:30am Weeke Community Centre. Creative Sunday. Do you have a gift in music, art, photography, poetry, flower arranging, making cakes, drama, making things … or anything else? NWCC is hosting a morning to celebrate God’s creativity through our own creative gifts.
Our Church Meetings
We meet on most Sunday mornings at 10.30am at Weeke Community Centre. On some Sunday mornings we meet in different ways, check back in to see what is coming up.
Being based in a busy community centre gives us an opportunity to focus on fellowship rather than the furnishings you might find in a traditional church building!
Our meetings are fairly informal and open to all. Our worship usually includes a mix of new songs and traditional hymns. We provide activities for children and young people, and love to welcome visitors. There is no dress code!
We also meet during the week- visit our Faith page to find out how you can get involved!
Our Community Activities
We run a variety of activities on weekdays, and everyone from the community is welcome to join in. Please do visit our community page to find out more about our activities.
If you have any questions, please do contact us. We would love to hear from you!
