About usNWCC started out as a church plant from Winchester Baptist Church in 1991, meeting at The Henry Beaufort School, Harestock and known as Harestock Baptist Church. We are a small group, attendance numbering around 40 on a Sunday morning. The church is a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, and also involved with other churches in the area through Churches Together, and Mission Winchester. Neil Simpson was inducted as NWCC's minister in September 2006 after completing ministerial training at Spurgeon's College in London. Neil, his wife Ruth and son Ben have lived in Winchester since 1995. NWCC is a friendly church which welcomes young, old and all in between. Our services contain a mix of traditional and contemporary music common in many churches. We currently meet at the Weeke Community Centre for our Sunday morning service, which starts at 10:30am. You can find NWCC using Multi-Map. If you want to know more about NWCC or have any questions or suggestions concerning the web site, please email us or phone 01962 884769. For those involved in the running of the church, there is a members page. |
